The product is comprised of a multi-layer geocomposite.
The first layer is the high-density polyethylene drainage core with a newly developed dimple pattern. This design allows for the following advantages: high compressive strength, outstanding toughness and increased drainage capacity. The dimpled sheet keeps incoming water off of the waterproofing layer and acts as highly effective protection during backfill operations.
The second layer is a heatbonded polypropylene geotextile. Securely bonded to the dimple crowns by a thermal process for lasting durability and performance, this geosynthetic material provides superb filtering performance. The rot-proof geotextile removes suspended soil particles and prevents clogging of the flow passages in the dimpled core. The result: continuous drainage of incoming water to the drain-pipe system below, thus protecting the foundation against water damage for many decades to come. The drainage capacity of this high-quality product is further increased by the close dimple spacing of the new texturing pattern.

The specialty TYPAR® geotextile screens out soil particles to maintain high water flow rates through the drainage core. DELTA®-DRAIN with its high-flow capacity core ensures effective drainage for virtually any construction project. This also enhances waterproofing and relieves hydrostatic pressure buildup against subterranean surfaces. The product can be used for instance for hillside construction, residential and small commercial foundations, ICF-foundations, full wall drainage for waterproofing applications, retaining walls, etc.
